Ingredients
Serves 4
  • 8 ounces linguini
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper
Directions
  • Cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until they turn pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  • Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the shrimp back to the skillet. Toss to coat the shrimp in the sauce.
  • Add the linguini to the skillet, tossing until well coated with the shrimp and sauce.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the dish.
