  • 3-4 pound pork roast
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
  • In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the pork in a large resealable bag or dish, pour the marinade over it, and marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Remove the pork from the marinade. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of the barbecue sauce with 2 tablespoons of the marinade.
  • Place the pork in a roasting pan. Roast in the oven for 2.5-3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C).
  • During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the pork roast with the prepared glaze every 10 minutes for a flavorful crust.
  • Ensure the pork reaches a safe internal temperature, and the juices run clear.
  • Allow the pork roast to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
