Ingredients

For the lamb patties:
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the aioli:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For serving:
  • Slider buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions (optional)
Directions
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the lamb, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic, mint, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the lamb mixture into small patties, about the size of your slider buns, using your hands. Ensure that the patties are uniform in size and thickness to ensure even cooking.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and nicely browned on the outside. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.
  • Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease.
Preparing the Mint Aioli
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mint, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  • Taste the aioli and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Add more mint for a stronger mint flavor or more lemon juice for extra tanginess, according to your preference.
Assembling the Sliders
  • Spread a generous amount of mint aioli on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  • Place a lamb patty on top of the aioli.
  • Add a fresh lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and sliced red onion (if using) on top.
  • Complete the sliders by placing the top half of each bun over the toppings.
